Washington DC

During a missions conference at our home church, the missionaries were treated to a day in Washington DC.  There is so much worth seeing (for free!).  The weather was perfect and we were in walking distance of many memorials and the Smithsonian museum.
We rushed through a few buildings of the Smithsonian.  We could have easily spent a week in the Smithsonian alone (FREE admission).  The last time I (Tim) was in DC was back in the early 70s when we were able to tour inside the White House.  Those days are gone!

Photos above: 180 degree photo (14 stitched photos) of the Capital building w/Sarah on the left; White House w/zoom lens from a distance; Vietnam memorial w/Washington monument in background; WWII memorial (Sue walking up ramp); and you will see the WWII memorial in the foreground of the Lincoln memorial (lower center & right photos).
